Freedom Academy Stage Stars
At Freedom Academy, our Stage Stars programme provides high-quality, structured training across the three core disciplines of performing arts: acting, singing and dance.
Each session is carefully designed to develop confident, versatile performers, with dedicated time spent on each discipline. Students work with specialist tutors, building strong foundations while working towards exciting performance opportunities throughout the year.
Students develop:
🔹Acting skills – characterisation, script work and performance technique
🔹Singing technique – vocal development, harmonies and performance skills
🔹Dance training – choreography, musicality and style
This balanced approach allows every child to grow in confidence, discover their strengths and thrive both on stage and beyond.
Age Groups:
Students are grouped by school year to ensure a supportive, age-appropriate environment.
Students in Year 8 and above progress into our Elite Programme, continuing their training at a more advanced level.
Our Training & Performance Journey:
Autumn Term – Building Skills & Introducing the Show
The year begins with a strong focus on developing core technique across acting, singing and dance.
As the term progresses, students are introduced to the Spring musical production, beginning to learn key songs and choreography alongside their training.
Drama sessions also explore acting for camera, with students creating short films that are screened as part of our Summer Showcase.
Spring Term – Rehearsal & Performance:
The Spring Term is dedicated to bringing the production to life.
Students combine their skills across all three disciplines to rehearse and stage a full musical, developing performance quality, teamwork and stage confidence.
The term culminates in a live performance in our in-house performance space, giving every child valuable stage experience in a supported environment.
Summer Term – Showcase & Development:
In the Summer Term, students continue to develop their skills while preparing for our end-of-year theatre showcase.
🔹LAMDA Examinations: Students work towards group LAMDA exams within their classes, building recognised qualifications in acting and performance.
🔹Showcase Preparation: Singing and dance sessions focus on dynamic performance pieces for the showcase.
The year concludes with our Summer Showcase in a professional theatre, where all students come together to celebrate their progress and perform on a large stage.

Subscription: Your monthly subscription spreads the cost of your child's place across the academic year (36 classes). It is not a pay-as-you-go membership.
By enrolling, you are reserving your child's place for a full term (12 classes). If your child leaves during a term, the remaining fees for that term will still be payable.

Monthly subscriptions are collected from September to July (11 payments) and spread the annual cost of tuition across the academic year. They do not correspond to the number of classes attended in any individual month.
Subscriptions are collected on the 1st of each month. If your child joins after the 1st of the month, a catch-up payment will be charged to cover any payments that have already fallen due, ensuring your subscription remains in line with the academic year payment schedule.
A 10% sibling discount is available for additional children attending FPA.
If a subscription is cancelled or a payment fails during a term, any outstanding fees for the remainder of that term will become due immediately.
