We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to Freedom Academy! We are passionate about fostering a love for the performing arts in a supportive and inspiring environment. This welcome pack outlines our terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Please read them carefully. By enrolling your child, you agree to these terms.

At Freedom Academy, we are dedicated to providing high-quality training in a safe and nurturing space. Our classes are designed to encourage creativity, build confidence, and develop valuable performance skills. We have a team of dedicated and experienced instructors who are passionate about sharing their love of the arts with the next generation.
Key Information for all Classes and Camps
Terms and Conditions:
General for All Classes & Camps:
- Punctuality is Essential: Please ensure your child arrives on time for each class. Late pick-ups will incur a £5.00 late fee. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining our class schedules.
- Uniform and Attire: All students are required to wear the designated Freedom Academy uniform for all classes. This ensures a sense of community and readiness for performance. Details of what your child needs to wear to class is on www.freedomacademy.co.uk/uniform-1. It is important you visit this page to make sure you understand all uniform requirements. For Holiday Camps students should wear practical clothing and footwear; either dance shoes or trainers are appropriate.
- Behaviour Policy: We maintain a respectful and supportive learning environment. We reserve the right to remove children exhibiting unacceptable behaviour from class. In such cases, no refund will be given. We believe that all children deserve a positive learning space and will work with parents to support children, but we need to ensure the best for all children attending.
- Missed Classes: Regrettably, we are unable to offer refunds for missed classes or camp days due to illness or other reasons.
- Class Cancellations: In the rare instance that Freedom Academy needs to cancel a class, we will endeavour to either: Offer a make-up session at an alternative time. If a make-up session is not possible for a class, we will issue a credit for the following term or provide a direct refund for the cancelled session. For Camps, a full refund will be issued in the event of a cancellation.
- Illness: If a child has been unwell, they should not attend classes or camps to prevent the spread of illness.
- Parent Communication: We request that parents keep their child's Class4Kids account details up-to-date. This includes your contact numbers, address, photo permissions, and any pertinent medical information for your child.
- Child Release: For children in Year 6 and above, we can only allow them to leave class unaccompanied if we have written permission and an update on the Class4Kids form. It is important to note that Freedom Academy cannot accept liability for children who leave without a parent/guardian if this permission has been granted.
- Personal Belongings: Freedom Academy cannot accept liability for the loss or damage of personal belongings. Please ensure your child's belongings are clearly marked and kept safely.
- Property Damage: Parents/guardians will be liable for any damage caused to the venues we hire or any Freedom Academy property by their child.
- Late Payment Fees: Please ensure timely payment of fees to avoid any late payment penalties that may be incurred.
- Non-Payment Policy: Non-payment of fees may result in your child's place being forfeited.
- Collection: If someone other than a parent/guardian is collecting your child, we must be informed in advance via text or a phone call.
- Nut-Free Environment: We are a nut-free school and any other allergies will be made aware of. Children must not bring these foods to class. Water only to drink.
Payment Information:
Payments can be made via the Class4Kids system - Class4Kids charges a fee for this service or via bank transfer. Details for bank transfer can be found on your Class4Kids invoice when you click "pay."
- Important: Tax-Free Childcare and childcare vouchers can only be accepted as payment towards holiday camps and must not be used to pay for any Freedom Academy class.
Freedom Academy Friday and Saturday School Classes:
- Termly Enrolment: Enrolment is for the entire term. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if a child leaves the program early for any reason.
- Notice of Withdrawal: If you do not wish to continue to the next term, we require written notice (via email) at least one week before the end of the current term. Failure to provide this notice will result in your child being automatically enrolled in the next term, and you will be liable for the full term's fees.
- Uniform: Uniform and correct footwear must be worn to all classes see the uniform page on our website. Long hair must be tied back. No Jewellery.
- Trial Classes: After your two-week trial, we will send you an invite to sign up for the remaining term. Please accept or decline. If we do not hear from you by the next session, we will remove your child from the list and assume you do not wish to attend.
Freedom Academy After School Clubs at Partner Schools:
- Collection: If someone other than a parent/guardian is collecting your child, we must be informed in advance via text or a phone call. If a child is attending after-school club, please text or call.
- Full Classes: Parents will need to re-enrol. For classes with space, we will automatically re-enrol children. If your child does not wish to attend the next term, please email.
- Termly Enrolment: Enrolment is for the entire term. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if a child leaves the program early for any reason or for missed sessions.
- No refunds: We do not offer refunds for any reason once payment has been made.
Freedom Academy Holiday Camps:
- Booking a place: Places can be held for up to 5 days. If payment is not received within this time, we will automatically release the place.
- Collection: If someone other than a parent/guardian is collecting your child, we must be informed in advance via text or a phone call.
- Clothing: Practical clothing and trainers or dance shoes.
- No refunds: We do not offer refunds for any reason once payment has been made.

By enrolling your child in Freedom Academy, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions stated above. This helps us maintain a consistent, safe, and fair environment for everyone.
