Booking Terms and Conditions
- Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.
- Freedom Academy Ltd. or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.
- Freedom Academy Ltd. reserve the right to remove from our program, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behavior.
- Parents and Carers must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing us at info@freedomacademy.co.uk.
- You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.
- Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
- You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.
- We do not issues refunds if a child can no longer attend a session or camp
- We do not issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.
- If there are any sessions missed sure to typical bad weather, Freedom Academy Ltd. will offer a make-up session, or parents will be refunded.
CANCELATION OF TERM TIME CLASSES
- Cancellation of a place must be made in writing by email to: info@freedomacademy.co.uk at least one week prior to the end of term current term.
- Cancellation will only be effective from the end of the term in which written notice is received.
- If you do not notify Freedom Academy Ltd one week prior to the end of term of the Course that you do not wish a Student to be re-enrolled onto the following Term of the Course, then you will remain liable for half of the full Term fees in respect of the next Term, regardless of attendance of the Student.
- If a place is canceled during a term in which your child is currently attending you are still liable to pay all outstanding instalments of the said term’s fees whether your child completes the term or not. Cancelation will then come into action at the start of the following term.
PARENT AGREEMENT
Parents and guardians (all references to “parent(s)” include guardians)
I. It is the responsibility of parents to ensure and be satisfied that students are fit and healthy to attend classes at Freedom Academy Ltd.
II. Parents should ensure that students are punctual for classes and are collected promptly at the end of classes. Freedom Academy Ltd. front desk staff must be notified before the start of the class if a student will be collected by someone else and give said person’s name and contact details.
III. In order to avoid disturbing classes, you and your child are requested to arrive in good time. Entrance to classes may be barred to anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late.
IV. If your child is not collected at the class time stated, parents agree to pay an on the spot fine issued of £5 and an additional £5 changed for every 15 minutes there after that a tutor is kept waiting with your child.
V. Students are not permitted to leave the premises unless accompanied by an adult. An exception can be made for a child aged 12 years and over where written permission has been received first from a parent stating that their child has been given permission to leave the premises unaccompanied.
VI. In the event a known absence will occur, parents should notify Freedom Academy Ltd. via email or text message prior to the start of the class.
VII. Parents are responsible for ensuring the personal contact details of pupils are up to date. Any change of information is to be notified via the online contact form.
VIII. Freedom Academy Ltd. will not tolerate threatening or aggressive behavior for any reason, including where staff are attempting to enforce these terms and conditions. Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right at its absolute discretion to immediately terminate the contract between you and Freedom Academy Ltd. if in Freedom Academy Ltd.’s opinion a parent or guardian of a student acts in a threatening, aggressive or otherwise inappropriate manner towards any member of Freedom Academy Ltd.’s staff, any student or other parent or third party. In the event of any such termination, Freedom Academy Ltd. shall have no further liability whatsoever to you.
IX. If any parent fails to follow these terms and conditions or attempts to prevent any Freedom Academy Ltd. staff member from seeking or attempting to enforce these terms and conditions, Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right immediately to terminate the contract with you and/or exclude your child from attending further classes at Freedom Academy Ltd. on a temporary or permanent basis, without further liability to you.
STUDENT AGREEMENT
I. Students must follow all instructions and rules including those in relation to punctuality, presentation and behavior. Failure to do so will constitute a breach of these terms and conditions.
II. If a student is persistently disruptive on or around the Freedom Academy Ltd’s class premises, whether before, during or after classes, Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right to exclude that student on a temporary or permanent basis at its sole discretion.
III. The use of mobile phones by students is strictly prohibited during Freedom Academy Ltd’s classes and break times.
IV. After an initial period of two weeks, all students must wear the appropriate uniform. Full uniform requirements can be found at - https://freedomacademy.co.uk/uniform-1
V. No jeans, skirts or any other type of footwear to be worn during sessions other than those stated.
VI. Long hair should be neatly tied back for all classes.
VII. Students may bring water and a healthy snack to classes. Fizzy drinks, sweets and chocolate are not permitted.
VII. You understand and agree that teachers at Freedom Academy Ltd. may use tactile feedback and instruction with students to support verbal feedback and instruction where appropriate. This is to ensure safe practice.
IX. A basic first aid kit is kept on the premises of all Freedom Academy Ltd’s class venues and staff members at Freedom Academy Ltd. may administer basic first aid to students if necessary whilst a student is on the Freedom Academy Ltd. class premises. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law (and subject to clause 7.iii), teachers and Freedom Academy Ltd. shall not be responsible for any injuries or accidents taking place on the class premises that are outside our reasonable control.
X. If a student needs to take any of their own medication, whether self-administered or otherwise, whilst on the class premises of Freedom Academy Ltd. we must be informed in writing. In any event, Freedom Academy Ltd. accepts no responsibility for administering such medication (and/or the effects of the same) and the student’s parent/guardian assumes full responsibility.
XI. Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right to permit the recording and photographing of students by staff (or by third party photographers or filming companies on behalf of Freedom Academy Ltd.) and audience members during an open class, show or event.
XII. Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right where appropriate to record or photograph students for educational purposes.
XIII. Freedom Academy Ltd. reserves the right, where appropriate and permission has been given, to record or photograph students for marketing purposes.
